Cat no: LTDNSE7

Rhythm Sticks debut album "The Hen's Tooth" was launched at The Barbican Centre as part of the London Jazz Festival 2013 and over the course of a year have had their music entered into the National Sound Archives at the British Library, performed at the Barbican, at Jazz On 3’s Jazz In The Round Cockpit Theatre, at the Vortex Outdoors Festival.

To celebrate the year's success, Rhythm Sticks were booked to perform upstairs at The Vortex, London on a bill with the George Crowley Ensemble. Performing to a busy house, Rhythm Sticks made July 10th 2014 a very special evening indeed - here captured as it happened.

Tom Greenhalgh & Andrew Plummer would like to thank:

PV students, parents & staff, Lucy & all at The Vortex, Alex Bonney, Cameron Reynolds, Jonathon Maris, Elsa Mock, Paul Lewis, George Crowley & co and a special thanks to all the wonderful Rhythm Sticks musicians past and present - you are incredible.

Track Name: The Coat
I made my song a coat
Covered with embroideries
Out of old mythologies
From heel to throat;
But the fools caught it,
Wore it in the world's eyes
As though they'd wrought it.
Song, let them take it,
For there's more enterprise
In walking naked.
